Boyd Allenis a street musician from Springfield, Missouri. He plays funky, soulful, Ozarks blues.
Growing up in a family of singers and musicians, Boyd cut his teeth on Southern Gospel and soon graduated to Southern Rock. As a teenager he discovered the Blues, and has never been the same. His influences include music from Rockabilly to Hillbilly and everything in between. If you catch him playing on the streets of Springfield you're liable to hear some Blues, Soul, Rock, and maybe even some Gospel.
